FarmVet.com – Calm, Take It Easy, and Destress by Cavalor

Show horses can get very anxious. They sit in a stall for several hours a day and do not get to walk around like they were out in a paddock or pasture, or have the opportunity to go in a walker. To keep your horse calm, Cavalor offers several different products. The first horse supplement is Calm. Calm is your everyday calmer. If you have a horse that is always hot, this helps give him a level head without making him feel groggy or unlike himself. The other two equine supplements that Cavalor offers works best together. Destress starts 2 days before the competition. You give Take It Easy 24 hours before the event and then 1 hour before the event. Destress and Take It Easy will keep your horse calm and in the game. I’ve got a 4 year old thoroughbred filly who gets quite anxious from the time she gets to the paddock to be saddled until she leaves the starting gate. I’ve searched for a product which will take the edge off of her while in prer race and yet not dull her for the actual race. Do you have any experience with your products Distress and Take It Easy with thoroughbred race horses??

I need some help re Calm and Take it Easy by Cavalor. Using the product on a 6 year old gelding who is very nervous, without a calmer he would be almost impossible to ride! Can Take it easy be used everyday ie. an hour before riding. I understand that calm should be used 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Advice would be greatly appreciated
