Greetings fellow readers! Our sponsored riders have been really active over the past couple of weeks. Will Simpson, sponsored rider and gold medal Olympian, recently competed at HITS Thermal in the World Cup Qualifying class and won! He was riding Archie Bunker, an Oldenburg gelding. We are very excited on his win, and hope to see him in Las Vegas in April. Second place was McClain Ward, another Beijing gold medal Olympian, so there were a lot of top notch riders in the event. I was excited to have witnessed it!

Aaron Vale, a FarmVet sponsored rider, won the $50,000 Grand Prix last week in Ocala, FL. He competed in a field of 26 horses in the first round and 9 horses in the jump-off. Besides winning $15,000, Aaron got engaged on Valentine’s Day to Mallory Norton! We are very excited for Aaron, and wish him the very best.

This Friday, Feb 20th, we will be having a Mardi Gras party at the Ocala Horse Show. One the menu will be Chicken, Sausage, Shrimp, and Rice Jambalaya, tossed salad, corn bread, and cookies and brownies for dessert. We are looking forward to partying it up with all of our FarmVet customers. Lisa Steltmeier, Christian Currey, Kathryn Jennings, and Laura Tromben from FarmVet will all be there at the party.
