At the bottom, there are two links of the stories that AQHA has written about “Little Al” and me. Without Calm and Destress, I would not be able to get him soft and slow enough for the horsemanship without exhausting his legs. Instead of having to “ride him down” the Calm and Destress take the show atmosphere anxiety out of him and he can concentrate on his job. It is an amazing product, and I just love it. I have tried all of the others on the market, ie Calm and Cool, Perfect Prep, Quietex and none of them work like Calm and Destress. I am headed to the AQHA world show and I could not have done it without Calm and Destress!
I have also used the product for rehabilitation purposes. I had a pony fracture her cannon bone. We found it quick and as long as we could keep her quiet in the stall for a couple of months, she would recover. We sedated her the first week, but I didn’t want to do that for two months. I weaned her off the sedation and started feeding her Calm in her grain twice a day. Sure enough, it kept her quiet and she healed just fine. She came back 100% sound and sassy!
Finally, I raise AQHA hunt seat horses and they all have thoroughbred blood in them. We give them Calm before we take them to their first horse shows and it really helps. They mature faster and settle into the horse shows, because they don’t learn to get nervous. Also, they stay sounder and happier because we don’t have to “ride them down” to get them to relax at the horse show. They are quiet and ready to do their job!
I truly appreciate what Calm and Destress do for me!
Sincerely,
