Ainsley Vince named CAVALOR ‘Athlete of the Month’ for November

Ottawa, Ontario Jump Canada has named vthe CAVALOR ‘Athlete of the Month’ for November.

Vince of Milton, ON, was named the Jump Canada Series Champion following the final event in the 2009 Series, the $100,000 Canadian Show Jumping Championships held November 6 and 7 during the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, ON.

Riding Frieda, an eight-year-old German-bred mare owned by The KMA Group, Vince enjoyed consistent results throughout the 2009 season to earn a total of 210.20 points.  Vince’s younger sister, Courtney, proved to be her greatest competition, ending the season with 195.8 points riding Nalla.  However, it was the eldest Vince sister who took the Jump Canada Series title, as well as the $10,000 cash bonus offered by Jump Canada.

“I really appreciate being named the CAVALOR ‘Athlete of the Month’ for November,” said Vince, 33, who also won the Jump Canada Series title three times in a row, in 2002, 2003, and 2004, with her long-time partner Catch 22.  “Winning the 2009 Jump Canada Series makes me feel like I am on my way back.”

“I love Cavalor products,” she continued.  “We just put some of our horses on Cavalor supplements in the barn, and I am really pleased with the results.”

As the CAVALOR ‘Athlete of the Month’ for November, Vince receives a gift certificate from title sponsor CAVALOR Inc.

Other top show jumping athletes who have been recognized as the CAVALOR ‘Athlete of the Month’ for 2009 include: Jenna Thompson (January), Yann Candele (February and August), Erynn Ballard (March and October), Beth Underhill (April), Angela Covert-Lawrence (May), Ian Millar (June), Joelle Froese (July), and Mac Cone (September).
