“We had put Ravel on Cavalor feed products a bit before the World Cup Finals in Las Vegas. Since then he has more energy and the scores have been higher,” said Peters of the positive results Ravel has experienced since using Cavalor products.” – Steffen Peters, Grand Prix Dressage Rider
“During a trip to Europe, I discovered Cavalor Feed. It was the perfect time. I was looking for a new feed because I didn’t like what I was using. So, as soon as the feed became available at Grand Prix feed store in Wellington, I started to use it. I like how the feed looks. I put one horse in particular on Cavalor Perfomix. I had difficulties to maintain its weight, either too fat or thick skinny, and his brain wasn’t settled. Thanks to Cavalor Perfomix, I feed him normally, its weight is consistent and he feels much better in his mind. Then, I started to use Cavalor Pianissimo on a really hot mare, she really improved and is much more rideable. After these two successes, I decided to switch all the horses on the Cavalor Feed. One of my horses was allergic to a lot of grains. I couldn’t feed her a lot. She got really sick with other feed so she went right on the Cavalor Pianissimo. Now, I can feed her a real amount of food and she isn’t allergic to anything in it. I have two horses coming from Europe and I am so happy to have Cavalor Feed that I can put them straight on the Cavalor Feed. I don’t have to worry about the all exchange food from Europe to North America. So they will be on the Cavalor feed and I will be competing at the Grand Prix level this season.” – Ilse Schwarz, Grand-Prix Dressage Rider
“I decided to go to the Regionals at the last minute. I called my business partner down and we set up the booth with the jewelry and sculpture (I lived in Wellington for 14 yrs prior to moving to Aiken) I entered my mare, even after only being back in work for 3 weeks after a long hot summer siesta. Showing her in the blazing heat, stabled in a hot tent, and not lying down for 3 days took it’s toll on my mare. She rallied her best the first two days and I was so proud of her. However, on our Championship day, I simply had no horse left and it was truly a lesson learned. I felt bad that I stressed her and I only wanted her to perk up and be her old self again. After being given a generous sample of the Mash and Mix, I did feel it was safe enough to go ahead and feed it. Nothing makes a horse owner more pleased to see their horses delight in such a great meal when they’ve been off their feed from a show. My mare bounced back quickly and was her old self in no time. In the past, she had some dehydration colic and stress from showing. I thought the Regionals were a bit too much for her and I was watching for colic signs like a hawk. Nope! To see her stressed so far, and bounce back in two days sold me on the Mash. I’m switching her to the Performix (I had brought down 6 weeks worth of Pennfield and I had to get through that first!). I have a temperature controlled shop and I think I can stock up for at least en I go home. So thanks for the sample—you got a customer out of it.” – Beverly Zimmer
“I own a 17 2 hand, 6 year old Oldenburg dressage horse. I have owned and handled him since he was 5 months old. He is not a spooky horse or a hot horse but he is opinionated and, because of his large size, this can make him difficult to handle at times, both on the ground and under saddle. I began feeding him Cavalor’s Performix in July of 2009 and after about three weeks I noticed a positive change in his personality. He still has his opinions but now is willing to negotiate and settles into his work much more readily than before. At one point, I ran out of Performix and began feeding him his old feed and within one week he reverted to being difficult. So now he is back on Performix and I am delighted with his behaviour. Two other positive things: I feed him half of what he used to get and he has maintained his weight and energy and I no longer notice any grain being passed through in his manure.” – Linda Blaskey
“Our horses look fantastic. We use several Cavalor feeds: Strucomix, Pianissimo, Superforce, and the Mash & Mix. The horses have been on the feed for about a month now. Their coats are amazing, the quality and integrity of their feet has improved, their energy levels are up. Both my groom, Cassie, and I are thrilled with the results. We have five horses on the feed, four FEI-level horses: one with some minor breathing issues–which are nearly gone; one prone to colic–which is no longer an issue on a combination of the Cavalor feeds; and one high-strung Grand Prix horse on lay-up–staying calm and relaxed on the Pianissimo. My retired Grand Prix mare, nearly 23 years old, has a new lease on life. She’s back to being to hottest horse in the barn, and is back in work because she feels so good. We credit Cavalor with these positive changes, and are so pleased that we will be able to keep the horses on this feed no matter if we are on the east coast, west coast, or training in Europe.” – Tami Hoag, New York Times Bestselling Author and Grand Prix dressage rider
